Hi Community,

Is there a way to transfer the trial capacity to another trial user who has just started? We need to buy some time while waiting for approval to acquire the Fabric license.

Hi @kirah2128 

 

The administrator of a Fabric trial capacity cannot be modified, so a Fabric trial capacity cannot be transferred to another user.

 

But you can still continue to use Fabric items. A tenant can have at most 5 trial capacities. If another user has successfully started a Fabric trial, it means the user has started another trial capacity and becomes the administrator of the new capacity. You can ask the capacity administrator to assign your workspace to the new trial capacity so that you can continue to use the Fabric items in that workspace. Trial capacities are all located in the home data region of your tenant, so this is doable. I've tested and verified.
