Deploy button is disabled in Fabric Deployment Pipeline though I am the Workspace Admin

Hi all,

Someone from my team has created a Fabric Deployment pipeline for promoting the workspace items from one workspace to another in our MS Fabric platform.

Before he left the team, he ensured all the team members have Workspace Admin role. However, when we try to deploy the items from Dev to Test workspace using this deployment pipline, the Deploy button was disabled for us.

We even have access to open Admin Portal. Kindly suggest what we might be missing..!

Hi @sgb_fabric,

We appreciate your inquiry through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

Kindly follow the steps below, which may help resolve the issue:

  1. You must be a Pipeline Admin and have Contributor access to both the Development (Dev) and Testing (Test) workspaces. Please check pipeline access settings and workspace roles.
  2. Deployment pipelines require workspaces with Premium capacity. Verify workspace settings and assign them to a Premium capacity if necessary.
  3. Each workspace must be appropriately assigned to a pipeline stage (Dev/Test). Ensure that workspaces are mapped correctly to the pipeline stages.
  4. Even with Admin rights, missing capacity permissions may block deployment. Check capacity settings and request access from the Capacity Administrator if required.
