how to use supportsEmptyDataView

I created a simple custom visual using powerbi-visuals-api@3.8.0.

The visual receives updates from powerbi without adding any data. I wanted to turn it off, so I added supportsEmptyDataView: false to the capabilities, but it still works without data. Do you know how can I disable this behaviour?

Please try to set the following two parameters in the capabilities.json file to false.

i have tried it, but didnt make any difference at all. The visual perfectly worked without data and received updates
