Trigger a Jenkins build from a PowerBI report

Hello,

I'm searching for a solution to trigger Jenkins build from PowerBI (button click for example). I don't know if it's possible.

Could anyone give me some idea if this is possible? If yes, how?

Thanks a lot

Technically a button in Power BI can take you to any web URL.  If your build system supports anonymous or GET based authentication (which it really shouldn't)  then you might be able to initiate a build from a button.

Consider the alternative of using a PowerApps visual for some more powerful (yet still klutzy) write-back options.

Unfortunatly, the first solution, using GET based authentification is not working.

In case of the second one, I'm not sure what visual you are refer to. Could you give me more details?

Thanks in advance for your time,

Adina
