Sharepoint Website PowerBI Embed Right-Click Scroll Issue

Hi All,

I am having an issue with my Power BI app that is embedding onto a SharePoint Website. The actual embed and app is running fine, the only issue is every time I right-click on the PowerBI app, it will scroll the page so that my click is the centre of the page (vertically speaking). I.e. If I right-click to drill-through the page will jump up or down, and then subsequently jump when I hover over drill through and it presents the drill-through options.

This issue does not occur when I am clicking outside the application onto the website.

This issue occurs on all of the three different browsers I have tried to use the website on.

This issue has been occurring for several months at this point and can be jarring for users.

Any help will be appreciated greatly! I have not been able to fix this even with the help of internal and external IT troubleshooting.

Example of what the page looks like below:

@MominK

I tried replicating your scenario but couldn't reproduce the issue. I would suggest you to embed the same power bi app in a different site with a vertical scroll and check if the issue persists.

Also, try removing the Power BI embed part in your sharepoint site and try adding it again, and if that solves the problem.

Hi Tharun,

The proposed solutions didn't work - I duplicated the page and re-embedded the Power BI Report and if there is no scrolling in the page it will partially eliminate the issue in the top half of the dashboard, but as soon as you right click the bottom half of the dashboard, it will start jumping again. If there is scrolling in the page then there will be an issue as has been occurring - which is inevitable in SharePoint, even if it is the only subject of the page.

Regards,

Momin
