Hi Everyone,
I am testing SCCM PBI template and i would like to know what does "Data Retention Days" really mean?
My requirement is that i would like my Target DB to have same data as the source DB regardless of the days/age. For e.g. my Source SCCM DB has 4 years of data. How do i ensure that i have all that data and it gets incrimenting or same as SCCM Source DB objects.
Below is the template that i am referring to here

can someone help me understand the follow up questions i had on this?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Data Retention Days specifies the amount of time that data generated bySystem Center Configuration Manager are kept in the site database. The date range is between1 and 365.
Best Regards
@Anonymous i checked with my SCCM admin and he says that the source site DB (application DB) has around 4 years of data. Do you mean the target DB here? which is required to be created as part of this SCCM solution?
and that the target DB cannot import and stopre data of more than 365 days in the past?
