Rest API vs Power BI Embedded

Hi All,

Could you please share your experience or inputs on Rest API vs Power BI Embedded(azure) to integrate the reports into an external application.

I am more looking ate future perspective?

It seems like there no progress happening at Rest API(no support for passing multiple filter values from a long time).

Is it better not to use Power BI Rest API for integrating reports in external application

Anybody from Power BI Admin team can add some details here.

Keeping cost in mind we are suggesting Rest API to integrate reports in the external application for our clients. But i am not seeing any enhancements happening from last two or three months.
