REST API support for DAX against dataset

Hi All,

I recently saw a post in the PowerBI blog announcing "PowerBI REST API support for DAX" as below available for public preview :

I am confused because i see a MSFT document which doesnt say it in preview ,so does it mean this is GA?

Can someone please confirm .I would like to make use of this and make the dev and at some point move to prod.

Power BI REST API support for DAX is in publish preview. 

You can try this feature as described in the blog. Due to it is a preview function, there are many limitations like version of workspace need to be V2 or others as below.

Limitations:

1. Only 1 DAX query can be executed per REST API request.
2. Each DAX query can have only 1 result set.
3. Result sets are capped at 100k rows.
4. Supported data types: string, numeric, boolean, blank, datetime and variant. Binary is not supported.
5. Azure AS and SSAS do not support this DAX REST API.

Some users have already tried this feature. You may refer to this post if you meet some problem when you try this function.

Thanks a lot for pointing to that same exact error in the same line of code in PS.I will talk to the community there to get some hints.
