Hello,
I am having a hard time calling the quickbooks time REST API. Since it is not quickbooks, I cannot use the quickbooks integration. I was able to get it set up in postman but have no clue how to get it from there into a powerBI query.
So basically I need to figure out how to autheticate, as well as pull the users: https://rest.tsheets.com/api/v1/users
Here is the API documentation:
https://tsheetsteam.github.io/api_docs/#getting-started
I think I am getting close and I use the GET for autorization but I get this when I put the Authorization Header and the client_id Header:
To use QuickBooks Time API in Power BI, set up authentication via OAuth and fetch data using Web.Contents in M Query. If it's tricky, tools like Skyvia can sync QuickBooks Time data directly to Power BI.
Check out the May 2026 Power BI update to learn about new features.
