I'm using Desktop and have a working Python script as a data source. It contains API creds and I want to scrub them before sharing a .pbit. When removing the creds in Advanced Editor, I can Close with no Apply. However, when I try to create a .pbit, there is a message stating the changes must be applied first. If I Apply the changes, doing so runs the Python script without creds, fails and thus, no .pbit can be created.
Is there a way to edit the .pbit directly or with an external editor so that the .pbit can be generated and scrubbed? I've tried Tabular Editor and it doesnt allow me to do this (edit Python in the Data Source). Or, is there a way to prevent Desktop from running scripts on Close & Apply?
