Hi,
I'm using the API of "Update All Connections" to update one dataset's data source in Power BI's portal. This dataset is using direct query from a Azure SQL database. When I updated it to another Azure SQL DB, the dashboard failed.... So I want to know the limitation of this API. What kind of features should the both Azure SQL DB have, like same table name, same table schema, same database name?
Thanks,
Shijun

Hi, Eric
I've entered the credentials. However, I've solved this issue. I made a mistake that the table schema are not the same. When I reformed the table, the error disappeared. Thank you!
Regarding "Update All Connections", are you talking about the "Set All Connections"? If yes, After the connection strings updated, did you reset the credentials?

It worked for me but if I try to update the connection string frequntly I doesn't work.
The first time I change it worked fine, then I tried changing after a minute. It didnt work but I didn't receive any error back, got a response status code OK. Again I tried after 5 mintues it worked.
Is there any limitation on the number of requests to be processed within a certain time frame?
Great to hear the problem got resolved. 🙂
