I'm experiencing an issue with the Power BI REST API documentation on Microsoft Learn. As of November 3rd, 2025, the "Try It" feature is still missing input parameter boxes for many endpoints, including:
Cancel Refresh
Update Parameters
Get Pages in Report
This makes it impossible to test these endpoints directly from the documentation UI. The issue has persisted for several months and affects both authenticated and unauthenticated sessions. I’ve verified that the correct API versions and permissions are in place, and the issue appears to be with the rendering of the input fields.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to Power BI REST API documentation - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/
Select any endpoint that requires path parameters (e.g., datasetId, groupId)
Click "Try It"
Observe that no input fields appear for required parameters
I’ve tested this across multiple browsers and accounts, and the issue is consistent. Is there an update or workaround available? Can Microsoft confirm if this is still under investigation or if a fix is planned?

Hi, I just raised this as an issue as well: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Developer/Power-BI-REST-API-quot-Try-It-quot-no-longer-all...
I don't think that this has "persisted for several months", though. I was passing inputs to this last week without issue. It seems to be a new issue (or maybe a new recurrence of an old issue).
From your thread I got to know Microsoft acknowedged the defect so accepting as solution, will follow you thread, if possible. Thanks
