I am using the Power BI REST API to Get Activity Events for my company. I'm getting a ton of data, which is great. However, when individuals view / export / interact at all with Paginated Reports, I see "Rdl" for "Workload", whatever activity/operation happened (i.e. "ExportReport"), but there is nothing under "ReportName" (or any other identifying objects). There is no way for me to identify which Paginated Report the user viewed, exported, etc. Does anyone have a fix for this?
Hi, @Anonymous
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
May I ask if your series of operations on the paginated report were completed on Power BI Service? Was your paginated report created in the Service? If you completed it on a local Report Server, the API might indeed be unable to track your activities, as normally, the workload should be Power BI.
Here is my retrieval screenshot:
Of course, if you have any new discoveries or questions, please feel free to get in touch with us.
Best Regards,
Leroy Lu
