We are using the PowerBI Embedded (app owns data) set up with API. Is there a way to access or recreate the Alerts functionality available on the PowerBI.com Service? We would like to allow the users of our App to set alerts the same way they would do it on the PowerBI.com service. Note that because our setup is "app owns data", our users do not have PBI accounts and are not even aware that PBI exists as far as we are concerned.
The ideal scenario is for there to be something in the API we can use (I haven't found anything). Failing that, I would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas about how we would go about implementing this using other tools (perhaps Flow, for example).
Many thanks in advance
Ben
Unfortunately, there's no such feature/API, you can submit your request at Power BI ideas and vote it up.
