I have a python script that already generates graphs. I want to include the python scripts in Power BI so I can have all the graph generated in Python in one place and analyze the data. Is this possible ? I'm new to the tool
All I found was a way to create a new python script for a table but when I include my script Power BI doesn't recognize the variables.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You are supposed to create the charts within the Power BI Python script against a plotting library that you can then ask to .show() the canvas. You cannot bring ready-made charts unless you place them onto that same canvas manually.
HI @Anonymous,
Unfortablely, the current power bi does not support this. You can't use an existing python script as a variable to invoke across different visuals.
They are stored in a standalone instance/container and interact with visuals based on relationships and filters from the source table.
