Can I modify what is shown when clients mess up a visualization and get an error? At the very least can i get rid of "Show Details" from the error box that is shown?

You can refer to the following blog to create a layer based on condition and put on your visual, then you can use it to display specific notice when conditions triggered.

Thanks for the reply @Anonymous , but that solution is if I'm creating the dashboard. I'm wondering if I can customize the error messages users see in an embedded instance where they are creating their own dashboards in our app owns data instance.
