Power BI Services and now Fabric has limited git integration:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/cicd/git-integration/intro-to-git-integration
it looks like, only Power BI reports could be under source control.
But how to bring other objects under source control? Notebooks, pipelines and so on?
Classic databricks has git integration, SQL Server databases have database projects, classic SSIS is fine with source control, but how to develop in fabric, using git? It looks like there is only one Power BI like GUI. Or is there an alternative way to access the fabric lakehouse and other components via other GUI?
What's the General the idea of how a developer should or could use fabric?
Hi @germo ,
Currently, only a few items are supported for git integration in Fabric, but the list of supported items is growing. You can get more details in the following links.

Best Regards
I know this site. And I am sure, that something is "coming soon" and that finally all can be under source control. For me the question is, how soon. And how I could or should work right now, until my trial period counts down, and how I could save my stuff and work at the end of the trial period.
For me this is currently the biggest issue when using fabric. Should I spent a lot of energy and later just lose it? Should I not try to develop any sustainable, but just play a bit? I don't understand, why the current state of fabric is so closed: you can something bring in (code, development) but you get nothing out, except of Power BI reports.
Or is it more save, not to spent energy on evaluating fabric now, but only when there will be ways to save my stuff.
There is nothing viable there at the moment. Waiting for the pbib export option.
