Grouping vs measure

Hi,

Can someone please explain to me how I should choose what to put in the `kind` section of a dataRole in capabilities.json?

Is it as "cut and dry" as numeric value=measure, non-numeric value=grouping? Or are there some scenarios where a numeric value would be a grouping and vice versa?

Thanks

Hello @callum,

Grouping is usually for not-numeric values, but you can use number with grouping if you want to handle this column as a category with data-grouping by value.

Measure is for numeric values.
