I've found the Git source code for a number of the more advanced versions of the doughnut chart (asterplot and sunburst) but I haven't been able to find the source for the standard donut chart (which is problematical because the powers-that-be want the standard chart with the one miniscule change of being thinner -- and the labelling style of the other variants "isn't acceptable").
Does current source exist - OR - am I unlucky and the visualization only exists as an old (non-PBIViz) version?
Thanks in advance.

Current versions of native visuals like the donut are not available. As you've found, the only current public repos from Microsoft on GitHub are for custom visuals.
