I have a table with fields - Id, SubId , ActivityName and I have a custom visual with all three fields in that. I have two other table visual on the page. First visual (say TB1) contains Id and count of SubId (For one Id , there are multiple Sub Id rows).
Second table visual(say TB2) contains ActivityName and count of SubId. When I select an Id in TB1, data in Custom Visual and TB2 gets filtered as expected. Now I've a requirement that, if I select an activity in TB2, my custom visual should show data for all the Ids which has this ActivityName. but on selecting an activity in TB2, cutom visual shows only the selected activity for all the Ids which has this activity. So If Id: 1 contains 3 rows with Activity 1 , Activity2 and Activity 3, Custom Visual gets only 1 row. which doesn't fulfill my requirement to get all data for those Ids which have this selected activity. can anyone please help me to figure out , how can I achieve this.
Hello,
Looks like you should use highlighting for a visual that musn't be filtered.
