Recovering in custom visual, the result of a measure calculated in DAX

Hi,
 

I m new to Power BI custom visuals development, I take an existing project, where the consolidations are done in a custom visual, by browsing recursively lines obtained by the mapping (in the case of a hierarchy).

I would like to know if there is way to directly recover the result of a measure and that consolidation is done in DAX,
taking advantage of the power of DAX, especially since some calculations are difficult to do in the visual.
