ExportDataFailed Error from Embed API

I have seen others post this issue with no response so here is hoping that this will increase the noise on this issue. It is extremely critical and urgent for us.

We have been using the visual.exportData method for a couple of years to export summary or underlying data from Power BI visuals. All of a sudden this is no longer working with a very ambiguous error message:

We are using the latest v2.18.7 javascript client version

We found a weird workaround.  If you first manually export the data (clicking on the ellipsis, then select "Export data" then export using any of the options) and then trigger the code (for us it's clicking a button) that calls visual.exportData, it works.

That doesn't work for us. The code still fails even after a manual export.

We are getting the same error message.  This started yesterday for us.  And, yes, this is occurring when trying to export data from table visuals.

I have been doing some experiments and it seems this issue is only affecting Table and Matrix visuals...hope that is helpful to someone
