Hi everyone,
I have a pivot table in excel that is linked to a pbi dataset through an api connection.
The thing is, everytime I change the filter settings in the pivot table it refreshes the dataset.
Can I disable that?
I saw in the api properties menu that there's a checkbox for background refresh but I can't uncheck it. Is there any other way?
Thank you,
Diogo

HI @diogoricciardi,
If you mean these data are live connection to power bi dataset, it is not impossible to block the connection to power bi.
I'd like to suggest you export these data from power bi to excel file then use these static data to build a pivot table, refresh operation was not trigger when you interact with this table.
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng
