Data source loosing credentials after Dataset parameter updated via API

Hi All

I noticed that if I update Power BI Dataset parameter via API, it loses  data source credentials, so I have to go to Power BI service and manualy update those credentials

Any idea how to sort it?

You can even use REST API to update the credentails :

Thats for Gateways, which we dont use

I think you may try to update datasource for datasets.

Tryed it - doing the same thing, removing datasource credentials 😞
