Custom Visual - ValueFormatter Format function

Hey Guys, 

 

I am working on a custom visual and wanted to use the formatting utils. 

 

it fails with "TypeError: Cannot read property 'findClosestCulture' of undefined" 

is there any special trick? I am using the exact same syntax as used here: https://github.com/Microsoft/powerbi-visuals-utils-formattingutils/blob/master/docs/api/value-format...
