We are in the process of certifying a custom visual. We have received the following validation failure but we are not so sure what it referes to as in our tests the visual filters properly.
Any hint / though is appreciated.

The custom visuals team don't monitor this board, so if you want specifics as to why a visual has failed certification, you could try asking on the Custom Visuals Development Discussion forum (which they do monitor), or emailing them at pbicvsupport@microsoft.com.
Personally, I've found the email route more helpful when discussing specifics of why a custom visual has failed certification and I was able to get very specific help to make sure that on the next attempt, I didn't have the same issues. As you're likely to be discussing specific portions of your code, this is probably the easiest feedback loop to go through these details.
