Hello,
I am building a custom connector and I am looking for a way to give the possibility of choosing a report parameter as field value, just like the native SQL Server connector does :
I found no way to get the same behavior (with a button/menu on the left of the field) on the documentation or the samples provided. I always end up with plain text field or a select list.
Is this possible ?
Thanks.
Regards,
JL
Hello,
With additional research I found that the "report parameter" I mentionned are officially called "Dynamic M query parameters", and that they are available in some connectors : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-dynamic-m-query-parameters.
Unfortunately I still can't figure out how to use them in a custom connector, or even if this is possible.
Does anyone have any insight regarding this subject?
Thanks.
Regards,
J
I am still looking for a solution to that question.
If anyone has any idea on how to proceed, or a definitive answer on wether this is possible or not, please come forward 🙂
Thanks.
Regards,
J
