Circular dependency error

I am using

COUNTROWS(RELATEDTABLE(TableName)) to get to the count. I am trying to duplicate the same column and it is giving the below error.
"A circular dependency is detected; Table(NewColumn), Table(Column), Table(NewColumn).

Please advice how to avoid this error and duplicate the measure.

Hi @vannavada ,

A circular dependency is a situation where two or more objects reference each other in a way that Power BI cannot process them. This can cause errors and unexpected results in your calculations.

To avoid a circular dependency, you need to make sure that your calculated columns do not depend on each other, or on any measures that use CALCULATE. You also need to be careful when creating relationships that involve calculated columns or tables, as they can create hidden dependencies.

If you want to learn more about how to avoid circular dependency errors in DAX, you can check out this article or this post. They explain the most common causes of the error and how to fix them.
