The credentials provided for the Google Big Query source are invalid

Initially when we are giving the GBQ credentials it will work for few hours. But after sometime, we keep getting the error "The credentials provided for the GoogleBigQuery source are invalid. (Source at GoogleBigQuery.). The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.", while connecting to GBQ from Power BI. Then we will again have to login manually into the GBQ from the PBI service. Because of that we are not able to schedule or use direct query. Please help us.

Hi @Anonymous ,

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

1.Clear and re-enter the data source permissions in Power BI Desktop and then republish the report to Power BI Service. Select OAuth2 authentication method.

2.Consider using a service account with a private key for authentication which generally has longer expiration periods.

Refer: Create service accounts  |  IAM Documentation  |  Google Cloud

Neeko Tang
