Power BI desktop has a preview feature to enable "Modify Visual settings for Mobile layout" as described here
The doc says this applies to Power BI service however if I try and create a report in Power BI service or edit an existing one I don't seem to have these new preview features.
How do I enable this feature in Power BI service?

Agree. Looks like the documentation may be inaccurate and this can only be set in the desktop.
That just gives me access to setup a mobile layout that can be setup to display when embeddnig. But it doesnt make it an optimized mobile layout that will automatically switch between desktop layout and mobile layout when the device goes from landscape to portrait.
Also the docs say that when it is setup correctly the report will show up as optimized. Adding a mobile layout doesnt achieve this.

I just took another look at the docs. The doc actually says that it will show as a mobile optimzed report when viewing it through power bi mobile apps. I was expecting to see the report marked as mobile optimized even in Power BI service - but now it seems like it only shows like that in a power bi mobile app (not sure what that is). In which case maybe just adding a mobile layout would be sufficient to make it "mobile optimized". Thoughts?
it's in the top menu bar
