Authentication for Power Bi

I am following the tutorial https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/iot-hub/iot-hub-live-data-visualization-in-power-bi, but I get to the point that I need to authenticate Power Bi.  I normally use Hotmail for all my Microsoft work, but it says I cant use that.  The office 365 I am running is my own and not part of a business.  So I used my College email and that seem to work, but when returned to the screen nothing seem to change.  I pressed the create button and I get the following messages.

• Failed to add output 'iotoutput1' to Stream Analytics Job 'iotjob1'.‎1‎:‎43‎ ‎PM

  The JSON provided in the request body is invalid. Property 'dataset' value length 0 is not in the acceptable range from 1 to 128.

   Connection test failed‎1‎:‎43‎ ‎PM

  The JSON provided in the request body is invalid. The provided data source is invalid.

Hi @smiske,

Have you firstly used your College email to sign up for Power BI, then use the email for authorization?
