403 Forbidden error code "Unauthorised" message on GenerateToken request

I get this error message on generating a Power BI embed token (according to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/embedtoken/reports_generatetokeningroup) but I get this vague error message. This request works for some accounts but this error seems to only occur for accounts with an internal domain e-mail address instead of an omicrosoft e-mail address.

How could I get this to work? Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure that your account has the relevant permissions? According to the error message, it seems that the server rejected your request due to permission issues.
