webtrends Connection

ave attempted to connect Webtrends as a datasource via the dektop and the webbrowser and each time it fails to recognise my credentials.

My passwords are correct as I can connect to webtrends as normal.

I am typing the username as "Company\UserName" as requested in other posts however I am having no luck.

@nigelreilly,

What error message do you get?

Do you have any issues when connecting to Webtrends content pack in Power BI Service?

If everything works well in Power BI Service, when connecting to Webtrends in Power BI Desktop, please choose Basic authentication method, and enter same Username("account\username") and password as that in Power BI Service, ensure that you don't add any extra spaces in the Username field.

Regards,
Lydia

Hi Lydia,

I can only connect directly to the Webtrends webpage. I cannot log in via powerbi desktop or service. When attempting to connect data via the PowerBi webpage I get the following error:

@nigelreilly,

Does your URL contain "&format=html"? Based on my research, the above error could occur when the URL contains "&format=html", change it to format=csv will work.

Regards,

Hi ,
