Hi @StephenNeild ,

The error message you are seeing usually indicates a problem on the server side. We can try the following steps to explore the cause and resolve the issue:

  1. If you are using Large semantic models, make sure it uses the Large semantic model format in Power BI. Otherwise it may cause timeout or server error during data refresh.
  2. Ensure that the account used for data refresh has the correct permissions, permission changes or authentication issues may cause intermittent failures.

I also recommend that you review here, which describes common problems associated with OData sources, including authentication and denial of access errors.

Best Regards,

Ada Wang

Hi Ada,

Thanks for response much appreciated - its so intermittent and is now starting to show a pattern.

It only happens on a Wednesday which it happened again yesterday then suddenly starts to kick back in so it’s really strange.

Any ideas or views why it doesn’t like Wednesdays?

Thanks,
Steve
