Hi guys i recently formatted my PC and mobile phone. And now i have been having challenge signing into my Microsoft power BI account. All i get is below

which i don't even receive any pop up notification to be able to select approve on my newly installed Authenticator app.

and if i use the second option of "USE a verification code", i still don't get any verification code sent to me.

Please guys what should i do to get this resolved?

Hello @Solomonibr_44 ,

It sounds like you have enabled two-factor authentication for your Microsoft Power BI account and you need to use the Microsoft Authenticator app to verify your identity when signing in. Here are some steps that can help you resolve this issue:

  1. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile phone.
  2. Verify that the time on your mobile phone is correct.
  3. When prompted to sign in to Power BI, enter your username and password.
  4. On the "Enter the code" screen, open the Authenticator app and find the Power BI account.
  5. Tap on the Power BI account to see the verification code.
  6. Enter the verification code into the "Enter the code" screen and click "Verify".
  7. You should now be signed in to your Power BI account.
