two different visual level filters in different matrix table

Hi There,

I create one report with two matrix tables, one matrix table has one set of visual level filter (table 1). Then I add another matrix table, and want to add different visual level filter (table 2), however the visual level filter from table 1 is automatically added in visual level filter of table 2, and I cannot find way to delete them, so my visual level filter for table 2 doesn't work at all because of this.

Do I miss anythng here?

Thanks

Don

Hi @dz0001,

For those fields and measures you added to a visulaization, they will appear in Visual Level Filters automatically and cannot be removed. If you don't want them to filter the corresponding visual, just don't apply any filter rules for them. Besides, some other fields/measures which are not displayed in visual can be removed from the visual level filters section.

Thank y'all for the advice.

This is really strange, I have two reports, for exmple, each report has one matrix table, Report 1 is revenue only (visual level filter), Report 2 is expense only (visual level filter).  Then I want to put Revenue and Expense matrix report at the same report, so I just copy M2 into Report 1 right under matrix table 1, however Matrix 2 table seems inherited visula level filter from Matrix 1 and I cannot remove them, my Expense Matrix ends up showing nothing, this drives me crazy

Hi,

Click on the second visual and remove the field/measure (which belongs to the first visual) from the visual level filter box in the Visualisation pane.
