I have a csv file that has a column that starts as a text column but is converted to a decimal. I trim and clean the column before I promote the header and change the type to decimal. For the numbers that have multiple decimal points, Power query displays the number as scientific notation. Should this be this?

@angelakephart , Open Data Transformation, Right-click on the table and open advance editor and change data type to number there, if it is not number
See if this dax function can help
As long as the numbers are properly represented this is not a problem.
