sum up from the beginning of the date table to date

I am referencing this article to calculate the beginning to date summaring but get 0.

I don't think it's correct to use the argument all() to represent the year-end which is a constant value.

Do you have other solutions to get the beginning to date sumup?

Hi @Julianaz ,

Based on your describing, I think you want to return a cumulative value, right?

You can try creating the following measure.

Measure = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Value]),FILTER(ALLSELECTED('Table'),[Date]<=MAX('Table'[Date])))

Why we need use Filter(ALLSELECTED()... ?
Thanks @Anonymous

I mean if we put the date as a slicer and select different date(s) the result will be different.

Hi,

YTD Total =
SUM(YTD
)

Try this.

Actually it's not working YTD already restricted everything in one fiscal year and you can't calculate the cumulative data for all any longer.
Sorry about that.

wow I guess that's very smart 🙂 I will try to see if it works~~~~~

I'd have to play with it get it right. I definitely have to work through it lol

Sorry about that. Good luck!
