showing data over time when each column is a separate month

Hi,

Does anyone know I might be able to show data as a line graph, so an amount over time, when my data is organized by month? So one column is November, with the amounts for each category in each row, then the next column is December, etc.

I can't figure out how to combine all the data so that I can do a line graph showing amounts over time for each category.

Hi @Anonymous ,

If your table looks like this, you can unpivot other columns and use a line chart to show it:

Hi, @Anonymous

Please correct me if I wrongly understand your question.

If it is possible to transpose or unpivot your table, I think it is doable to show the trend line by each category.

If it is OK with you, please share your sample pbix file or sample data file, then I can try to come up with a more desirable solution.

Thank you.
