Hi
I have a number like this 123456789. Can I use power query only (no formula) to trasfer it to 123-456-789. Thank you very much for the help in advance.

In Power Query, Select the number column and select "Split Column" By Positions and enter 3 as number of characters. This will split the number into three columns. Then create custom column and enter formula "Number.ToText([Column1])&"-"&Number.ToText([Column2])&"-"&Number.ToText([Column3]). This will give you your desired result 123-456-789.
