Unable to upload data

Hi when attempting to upload my excel data to PowerBI, i'm receiving this error. Data has been formatted as tables already:

Also second question is why am i unable to access the power query function on PowerBI online version (not desktop app)

    Anonymous , On the power bi service you have dataflow to work on power query.

     As of now, what you can do with a  dataset on the service is limited.

     

    Please share more information on the error if available. if you trying to load on service, then there can be a permission issue with onedrive

    that's the specific error i am receiving. The file is being uploaded locally (not via onedrive or sharepoint). When attempting to utilize other excel files with data tables, i'm able to create a report just fine. 

    2) just to clarify, i'm unable to conduct any power queries on the https://app.powerbi.com/ (currently on trial with 30 days remaining)? Will i need to obtain the license to unlock the additional features?
