Dynamic default Year Value
Hello ! I'm looking for a way to have a Year slicer that displays all available years, while automatically selecting the current year by default (e.g., 2026 today, 2027 next year). The default selection should be dynamic, so that when users open the report or use "Reset to default," the slicer automatically points to the current year. Is there a native Power BI solution to achieve this behavior? Thank you !

Olá, pessoal! Gostaria de saber se existe alguma forma de alterar a cor da fonte/texto na Exibição de Tabela (Data View) do Power BI Desktop, conforme destacado na imagem anexada. Estou utilizando o tema escuro do Power BI e gostaria de personalizar a cor dos textos exibidos nas células, por exemplo, utilizando um verde estilo terminal/Matrix (#00FF41) sobre o fundo escuro. Importante: não estou me referindo a um visual de Tabela ou Matriz criado na página do relatório. Minha dúvida é especificamente sobre a grade de dados do Power BI Desktop, acessada pelo ícone de tabela na lateral. Existe alguma configuração nativa, tema, arquivo JSON, configuração avançada ou outra maneira de personalizar a cor da fonte dessa área? Caso não seja possível atualmente, alguém sabe se existe alguma solicitação dessa funcionalidade no Microsoft Fabric Ideas ou alguma alternativa?
How do i make my column chart both Clustered and Stacked?
The above is my current stock on hand column chart where x-axis dynamically shows the current stock and the upcoming stock levels for the rest of the month, with the product codes in y axis. Currently all the stock is in different warehouses but i wish to show that split in a stacked manner. I've photoshopped crudely ideally what it'll look like where the yellow is warehouse 1 and the rest is warehouse 2 for example. How can this be achieved? I tried putting the warehouse column into the x axis but it splits the product codes into multiple columns for each warehouse rather than one singular column differentiated by color like a stacked chart. Is there a way to achieve this/is there a custom free non-trial visual for this? Thanks
fabric data agent access issue in M365 copilot
I have created a fabric data agent using semantic model of a published report, It is working fine but I'm not able to share it with others I published the agent in M365 copilot and share with my teams of 100 people only 4 or 5 people can go to M365 copilot and search the agent and added the agent to their agent tab others are not even seeing the agent but if I share the agent link from M365 copilot then they see the agent but agent is not answering the questions but it's perfectly answering for me and other 4 to 5 people who see the agent when I surfed it said it said there are 2 level of access to get answer from the agent 1. agent level access 2. underlying data level access I have workspace contributor access for workspace, read, write, reshare permission for the agent. most of them share the same access but there are not able to see the only difference I found is I'm having premium per user license and most of other have pro license so I doubted it but internet says license is not an issue can anyone pls help me with this issue
How can I create cards with trend percentage and mini sparkline chart like this dashboard?
How can I recreate cards with a metric value, MoM growth indicator, and a sparkline trend line inside the same card in Power BI? Is this achievable using native visuals or does it require a custom visual? Screenshot attached for reference Requirement: 1.the card on hover should have glow and shadow ( as shown in screenshot for M365 Groups) 2.on default the glow and shadow should disappear (as shown in screenshot for Total Mailbox) .
RLS vs OLS in Power BI Desktop
Hi everyone, I’ve been working on setting up Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) in Power BI. After completing my report in Power BI Desktop, I was able to configure RLS easily through Modeling view → Manage Roles. However, I noticed there’s no option in Power BI Desktop to configure OLS directly. After some research, I learned that OLS can only be implemented using external tools such as Tabular Editor. My question is: Why isn’t OLS available as a built-in feature in Power BI Desktop, similar to RLS? Is there a specific reason for this design choice, or is it something Microsoft might consider adding in the future? Would love to hear thoughts or insights from the community. Thanks!
