segment option in visualization

Hello ,

The segment option in visualization is very convenient, it allows to display the dates desired by the user.

Only problem, this segment takes as date 'the date of the system' https://docs.microsoft.com/fr-fr/power-bi/visuals/desktop-slicer-filter-date-range

while I seek for example to filter on my data the last two weeks, the segment shows me the results for the last two weeks taking into account today's date (so the date of the system) how to force it to take the date of my own data.

Hi @user83,

So you mean you want relative mode slicer work with your own datetimezone, right? AFAIK, power bi data model does not support timezone info, it only works with general date values. I'd like to suggest you take a look official document limitation list to know more about these:

Use a relative date slicer and filter in Power BI#limitations-and-considerations

Data models in Power BI don't include time zone info. The models can store times, but there's no indication of the time zone they're in.

The slicer and filter are always based on the time in UTC. If you set up a filter in a report and send it to a colleague in a different time zone, you'll both see the same data. Unless you are in the UTC time zone, you and your colleague must account for the time offset you'll experience.

Notice: switch timezone function in power query not change raw date value. If you want to keep converted date, you need to do calculate with raw data values. (add a new column to use raw date value and timezone offset to get local date value)
