I have a single query which I then break up into the facts and tables using m language. for each dimension I create a reference then remove columns and reduce to distinct rows. finally, I remove the dimension attributes from the main table (fyi - id's are generated from the backend query)
Will the backend be re-queried for each reference?
I would like to read it just once and let M build out the dimensions.
