Hello all,
I have been attempting to figure out a solution for creating a print friendly page.
Currently the "print" feature is clunky and unable to handle the layout/setting/margins in a simple way. An idea I had was to create a new page which is PDF friendly, i.e. size = letter and only include certain visuals.
A few ways to go to the "print page" were as follows however, i ran into limitations with those ways.
- Drillthrough
-- Able to select a customer however the slicer filters (i.e. month) do not carry to new page.

- Toggle
-- Customize layout into an attempted print friendly layout on the same page, however the slicer filters also do not carry over.

-URL Parameters
-- The concept could work here, i would need to figure out how to pass dynamic data (based on slicer, i.e. currency, location)
-- the URL Parameter page would need to be its own pbix report. If the URL Parameter page is created in the same pbix report the url still contains the hardcoded values.

Does anyone have a solution to how i can create the intended feature? Any direction or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello v-yulgu-msft,
Apologies for my convoluted question.
Esentially I have created a new page [PRINT PAGE] in Letter size and have setup the visuals so that when a user prints the current page [PRINT PAGE] it is printer friendly (that is my workaround for the print limitations).
After more research I understand that slicer values cannot be carried over to different pages. I was attempting to do that but since it is now clear we can close this request.
Thank you,
Hi @orangeatom,
What do you want to achieve when printing a report page? You want to select certain visuals to print rather than all visuals in a report page and you want to set the page size, right? However, this is not a supported feature at the moment.

From above three examples, I am not clear about your requirement. Would you please provide more description?
