problem with Refresh in Power BI

I have a problem with Refresh in Power BI The data source is Excel files in the Sharepoint server. It was automatically updated 8 times, and it used to sit every time for 10 to 15 minutes.. Now it stays for two hours?? Does anyone have a solution? The size of the data is no more than 5 MB.

Hi @Rawan2004 ,
unfortunately the scheduled refresh does not have more than 8 refreshes per day.

See below for reference:

Data refresh

For Power BI users, refreshing data typically means importing data from the original data sources into a semantic model, either based on a refresh schedule or on demand. You can perform multiple semantic model refreshes daily, which might be necessary if the underlying source data changes frequently. Power BI limits semantic models on shared capacity to eight scheduled daily semantic model refreshes. The eight time values are stored in the back-end database and are based on the local time zone that was selected on the semantic model settings page. The scheduler checks which model should be refreshed and at what time(s). The quota of eight refreshes resets daily at 12:01 AM local time.

There's not a lot of info here, but if your refreshes were close together, SharePoint does throttle if you make a lot of requests in a short duration. Since it's server, it could also be an issue with the gateway, or SP itself lacking resources. You might give it a couple hour break and try again and see if you have the same issue, try refreshing something else through the gateway to see if it's the gateway, etc.
