What is the new Power Query experience? We’re modernizing Power Query to deliver a more consistent, accessible, and streamlined data preparation experience across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Excel. This release is the first step, focused on Get Data, with a modernized Power Query Editor experience planned for later this year. What’s new in this release? Hi, I’m using Power BI Desktop. I need a Power Query to run native SQL against an internal SQL Server that is only reachable over VPN. The current error is: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.) In Edit Permissions there is no “Trust server certificate” option. Delete on the data source is greyed out (a query still uses it). Clear Permissions is available. What can I do to solve this problem? Thanks!
On-premises data gateway older version
Hello. I am trying to install On-premises data gateway on a Windows Server 2016 machine and I have a login issue. The latest version (3000.330.1) is compatible with the following OS: Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2025. I'm trying to find a link to download a previous version (3000.230.1) to see if this will solve the login issue without any success as I am always getting the latest version for downloading. Any ideas? Thank you

As it's still in preview, it's only available in Power BI Desktop with the preview feature turned on. Color Coding Issue
I have a PBI report in which I am using a tree map visual and I have coded few brands but for rest which i dint coded is having duplicate color issue, I am searching for a optimised solution for color coding where instead of doing it manually i can do it in some other optimised way.
Dark Mode ?!
This issue is glaringly obvious (pun intended) and has been discussed across multiple posts, across multiple years ! (even within these forums there are posts from 2018 that keyword dark mode flagging it as a fundamental/basic requirement). When are we 'actually' going to have a solution from MS to resolve this ? this isn't a quality of life issue, this is an accessability issue. Added context - I work on a restricted network and cannot (and do not want to) install third party executables or run magnifier inverted overlays which despite reducing glare, make as much annoyance by having to enable/disable to check end results (and let's not even talk about how all this interacts with the MS 'night light' function).
Is there a way to change the text color for More options menu on visuals
Hello All, I've noticed in the most recent update in Power BI, the text color of the menu for More options is now grey which makes it difficult to read in Power BI desktop. When I publish to the service it looks just fine and the text is black. Is this an issue or is there a new setting I have to update in Power BI desktop?
