You have a bunch of measures grouped nicely under a folder in your table say called "_measures".

You create a new measure.

Now you want to add the new measure to the "_measures" group.

Is there a quicker way rather than re-select all the measures via  "select measures" under "model view" ?

In Power BI Desktop, adding a measure to a display folder (like your _measures group) can be done more efficiently through the "Fields pane" without needing to go through the "Model View". Here's how you can do it:

1. Locate the Measure in the Fields Pane:

   • In the Fields pane, find the table that contains the new measure you created.

2. Right-Click on the Measure:

   • Right-click the new measure you want to group.

3. Assign or Edit Display Folder:

   • Choose Properties or Create Display Folder (the exact option may vary depending on the version of Power BI Desktop).
   • In the Display Folder field, type _measures (or the exact name of your existing folder).

4. Save Changes:

   • Press Enter or click anywhere else to save the folder assignment.

This will move the new measure to the _measures display folder directly from the Fields pane, avoiding the need to go into Model View.

Hi @garythomannCoGC 

You can simply select your measure> then go to measure tool

change home table name > new measure group.

I hope this is fastest way to change the measure from table to table.
