postal codes

Hello All,
I have a column for postal codes from all over the world.
Is there a way to extract city, state, and country names using the postal codes.

Is there an API?

For visualizations I can use ESRI, Bing Maps, and others.

Greg_Deckler's suggestion is good , and  you can use another API that provides geolocation data based on postal codes. GeoRocket: GeoRocket provides a REST-based, relational API that offers global data for street names, ZIP codes, cities, counties, regions, and countries     georocket.net
