plot a shape layer & point layer on a map, is it possible ?

Hi I have a list of suppliers on my source system and shp data.  This represents an area that supplier covers. 

Sometimes they do work that is out side their normal area. All Jobs have a recorded Lat/Long values.

Is it possible to create a shape layer and a point layer on a map, so I could easily identify work done outside an area??
